GOLDEN, Colo., Feb. 10, 2014 – Mines will host the Spring Career Day on Feb. 11 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Student Recreation Center. More than 200 organizations will be meeting with approximately 2,200 undergraduate and graduate students, alumni throughout the day. Students can participate in numerous recruiting activities, including interviews, company information sessions and more than 50 workshops throughout the year.
“While many of the companies coming maintain a continuous and long-term presence on campus, we have about 40 new organizations attending the event,” Jean Manning Clark, Director of Mines Career Center, said. “That is because this is a fantastic event for organizations that want to promote a solid presence on campuses, while maintaining their ability to acquire the very best talent for their current and/or future recruiting needs. You cannot beat the quality of the Mines students and graduates anywhere in the world.”
In 2013, Mines undergraduates earned an average salary of $67,055 and graduates one of $77,116. In 2012, the averages were $66,032 and $72,317, respectively.
