Colorado School of Mines Earth Resources Institute hosts Distinguished Lecture Series

GOLDEN, Colo., Jan. 8, 2015 – The first presentation in the Colorado School of Mines Earth Resources Institute’s Distinguished Lecture Series features Lawrence H. Goulder, of Stanford University.

Goulder’s talk, “Confronting Climate Change: Economics, Fairness & Political Feasibility” will be held Feb. 6 at 4 p.m. in room 102 of the CTLM building, located at 1650 Araphaoe St. Seating is limited, to register contact Kathleen Martin at kmartin@mines.edu or 303-273-3482.

Goulder is the Shuzo Nishihara Professor in Environmental and Re­source Economics at Stan­ford University and director of the Stanford Environ­mental and Energy Policy Analysis Center. He is also a University Fellow at Resources for the Future and a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research.
