Saturday’s Homecoming Spirit Festival will begin at 9 a.m. and features the first annual Oredigger Challenge with mental and physical events, a Pep Rally where the Queen and Beast candidates will be honored, a march from West Campus Road to Campbell Field and a football game against New Mexico Highlands. Colorado bluegrass band, Woodshed Red, will be playing a family-friendly show at the Spirit Festival. During halftime at the football game, the Homecoming Queen and Beast winners will be honored and money raised from the Hottiest Hottie Hot Wing Contest will benefit St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital.
