GOLDEN, Colo., July 2, 2014 – The Office of Special Programs and Continuing Education (SPACE) at Colorado School of Mines is pleased to announce the formulation of the KGHM Executive Academy.
SPACE will host nearly 40 international executives this August in a week-long executive training session specific to mining operations and innovative practices. This will be the first of two executive training sessions delivered by Mines. The group will represent Polish, Canadian, US and Chilean mining operations for KGHM.

Instructing the international cohort will be nine mining industry professionals. Mines faculty members Dr. M. Stephen Enders, Dr. Hugh Miller, Dr. Kadri Dagdelen, Dr. Pat Taylor, and John Stermole are among the instructors.
This unique partnership with KGHM Group is also collaborated upon with Swiss business school IMD. IMD is ranked first in Executive Education by Financial Times and will provide the KGHM Executives business and general management training. The IMD sessions delivered to KGHM are taking place at the IMD campus in Lausanne, Switzerland.
