Mines celebrates Homecoming Sept. 24-27

Homecoming Theme

GOLDEN, Colo., Sept. 19, 2014 – Colorado School of Mines' homecoming weekend, "Where Everything is Awesome," takes place Sept. 24-27.

The lineup of activities include:

  • Sept. 24: BlasterDash Obstacle Course, North IM fields, 4-6 p.m.
  • Sept. 25: RHA Tie-Dye, Kafadar Commons, 8:30 p.m.
  • Sept. 26: Concert & Carnival, Kafadar Commons, 6-9 p.m. (concert benefits Make-A-Wish Foundation, donations recommended)
  • Sept. 27: Oredigger Challenge, North IM Field, 8 a.m.
                   Homecoming Tailgate, NAAC, 10:30 a.m.
                   Football vs. Black Hills State, NAAC, noon

There will also be spirit activities and giveaways at random times and locations each day of the week. See the complete schedule of events on the Mines Activities Council webpage.

Homecoming packets can be purchased for $15 in the Student Center Atrium through Sept. 26, and include a t-shirt, thunder sticks, football ticket, tailgate voucher and face tattoo.
