GOLDEN, Colo., March 4, 2014 -- The President's Distinguished Lecture Series presents Ram Shenoy, chief technology officer of ConocoPhillips and member of the U.S. Secretary of Energy Advisory Board at 4 p.m., March 25, in the Student Center Grand Ballrooms on the Colorado School of Mines campus.
The lecture, "The People Side of Technology," is free and open to the public.
As CTO, Shenoy provides leadership in developing and incorporating technology and innovation into ConocoPhillips' businesses. An electrical engineer by training, Shenoy received a BA and MA from Cambridge University and a PhD from Cornell University. He has 20 years of oil and gas industry experience and previously was the VP of research for Schlumberger Limited.
