Reimanis was recognized at the 12th Pacific Rim Conference on Ceramic and Glass Technology, held May 21-26 in Waikoloa, Hawaii.

The Global Ambassador Program recognizes ACerS volunteers worldwide who demonstrate exceptional leadership and/or service that benefits the society, its members and the global ceramics and glass community.

Reimanis is the Herman F. Coors Distinguished Professor of Ceramic Engineering, an ACerS fellow and a former director of the society.
