Colorado School of Mines celebrated its Spring 2022 Undergraduate Commencement on May 13, conferring a total of 927 bachelor’s degrees during three in-person ceremonies at Lockridge Arena.

Colorado School of Mines awarded a total of 49 doctorates and 302 master’s degrees during the in-person ceremony May 12. Three undergraduate ceremonies will follow May 13 to cap Mines' Spring 2022 graduation festivities.

Students in the Design for a Globalized World class worked on a seemingly small problem with a big impact on the environment.

At the international competition, teams from the U.S., England and Australia competed head-to-head in seven events inspired by traditional mining techniques: mucking, handsteel, swede saw, trackstand, jack leg, surveying and gold panning.
