Frick , who has served as department head of Mines Mechanical Engineering since 2021, will start in the new role July 15.

As University Librarian, Maness will oversee Arthur Lakes Library and the Mines Museum of Earth Science, providing leadership and vision for advancing the library’s role in supporting research, teaching and learning across campus.

“The Mines ethos of use-inspired research and innovation is a significant part of what draws world-class faculty, students, and industry and government partners to Mines,” President Paul C. Johnson said.

The bookstore will transition to a spirit and apparel-only store, with course materials offered through Textbook Brokers’ online platform.

Community college students in the Mines Academy at CCA will have the opportunity to earn guaranteed admission into any four-year degree program at Mines.
